We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk with a company in Woodland Hills, California. The successful candidate will be joining our team to handle various accounting functions and will need to have a strong understanding of account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Handle account reconciliation tasks efficiently.

• Maintain and update customer credit records as needed.

• Resolve customer inquiries regarding their account status.

• Manage and process customer credit applications.

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Process invoices using Microsoft Excel.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

• Handle payroll processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Requirements • Must have experience in the construction or contractor industry

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Must be adept at data entry tasks

• Experience in invoice processing is necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Must be capable of handling payroll tasks

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential

• Must have a strong ethical standpoint and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure is required

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
