The position

Joining our company, you will get the chance to lead a recently established team in the GBS Center Wroclaw organization, providing services towards our master data solutions. Our solutions aim to establish a single source of truth, serving as the global data foundation for Boehringer Ingelheim.

You will lead a team of validation managers and process specialists. Your team supports the lifecycle of our master data solutions, including maintenance and enhancements. Your team is responsible for the operational testing, validation, and documentation, while constantly striving for improvement within an agile environment.

In close collaboration with the product owners, your team will ensure that our solutions are implemented and delivered correctly.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Ensure that your team effectively provides operational testing, validation, and documentation services. Enhance these services or identify obstacles as necessary

• Confirm that all services provided adhere to the high standards of the pharmaceutical industry and comply with GxP regulations

• Based on strong communication skills, you manage stakeholder interactions successfully with different teams in the organization

• Assess your team's performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as part of our continuous improvement efforts

• Serve as the primary touchpoint for your team members, fostering their personal development and growth

• Be the go-to person everyone can rely on when it comes to handling issues related to your team's services

• Elevate us to the next level by leading the team's development towards test engineering and automation.

About our future employee

You are fluent in English and have min. 5 years of professional experience as well as proven experience in leading teams (min. 1 year). You are also experienced in SAP / ERP processes and process design linked to ERP processes.

Additionally, we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, or have professional experience with equivalent training in test, validation, or data management

• Familiarity with at least one area: SAP MDG, HP ALM, SAP Solution Manager, or test automation tools (e.g., Tosca) is required

• Additional experience in an agile environment is considered a plus

• Demonstrate the ability to lead a self-managed team effectively, with a strong focus on intercultural awareness and a systematic approach to prioritize high-quality outcomes

• Understanding of regulatory requirements (GxP) in the pharmaceutical industry is appreciated

• Experience in master data, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, is advantageous

• Willingness to occasionally travel to our headquarters in Ingelheim.
