Our client in the commercial steering industry is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Machinist area. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attendance and be an effective team member which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Wytheville, VA

Pay Range: $21.50 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Set up and operate machines to manufacture power steering units

• Follow general machine shop practices

• Lift 5 to 25 lbs. throughout the shift

• Some repetitive lifting/moving

What’s Needed?

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated ability to operate metal-working machines including set-ups

• Experience reading and interpreting work orders, plans and blueprints

• Basic math and measurement skills and reading gauges

What’s in it for me?

• $21.50 per hour

• Day shift working 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

• Monday to Friday plus overtime if needed

• Weekly pay

• Temp position through 11/1/25
