Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned office or clinic.

Reports to: Director of Physician Practices

Minimum Education

Athena and Meditech experience X Preferred Required Working knowledge of computers, telephones, copy and fax machines required Demonstrate knowledge of icd-9, icd-10, cpt codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Licensure/Certification

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of date of hire Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant Valid driver's license and use of a vehicle for on the job.
