Welder - $22/Hour - 4 Day Work Week!

Location: Yankton, SD & Vermillion, SD

Pay: $19-$22/hour

Hours: Monday - Thursday // 6 AM - 4:30 PM

We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder to join our team. The welder will be responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding metal components to create or repair products and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding.

• Direct setup personnel in layout, align, and the fitting of components together.

• Set up equipment and weld parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment.

• Responsible for welding tasks as assigned by department manager.

• Complete daily records which document completed work tasks for that shift.

Requirements/Skills:

• Ability to perform essential duties as per work orders.

• Proficiency in reading and understanding work orders and blueprints.

• Physical capability to regularly bend, squat, and lift up to 70 pounds.

• Strong mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing common fractions, whole numbers, and decimals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
