Oracle Machine Learning (OML) offers scalable analytics in a variety of Oracle products, including the Oracle database and various cloud services. It includes cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) techniques that are combined with enterprise-level software engineering practices to create state-of-the-art ML technology for Oracle customers. We support Oracle Machine Learning algorithms PL/SQL API through OML4SQL in Oracle database and Oracle Machine Learning Services (OML Services) in various cloud services. OML Services allow portable deployment of the OML models through docker containers and web containers which facilitates the OML integration with other Oracle cloud services. In addition, the OML Services include deep learning-based technology to address the growing demand for AI-driven applications.

Our test development team is a part of the Database division at Oracle Corporation, chartered to develop software to evaluate and measure the quality of the Database software and Database Cloud Services.

The test development team work closely with development team, foresees Database software and Database Cloud Services usage scenarios, and develops automated test frameworks, tests, and tools to simulate real life scenarios to ensure that customers get the highest quality product.

We are the gatekeepers of the Oracle Products before it reaches the customer!

Who We’re Looking For?

We’re seeking the highest caliber software developers, with:

• A strong background in computing and excellent analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High potential to learn and adapt quickly.

• The ability to optimize solutions to difficult problems.

• A strong motivation to excel.

• Bachelors in a Computer Science related discipline. Masters, a plus.

• Sound knowledge of CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, etc.

• Experience with languages like C, C++, SQL, PL-SQL, Python, Perl, Shell.

• Experience with Linux/Unix administration commands.

• Experience with docker, docker swarm, kubernetes, and RESTful APIs is desirable.

• Experience with Machine learning, a plus

• Experience with any automation testing tool, such as RESTFuzz, k6, selenium, a plus

• Experience with Cloud Technologies, a plus.

Responsibilities

What Will You Do?

• As a member of the test development team, you will work with a multitude of the best and brightest minds coming out of top schools, such as yourself. You will gain in-depth knowledge about Oracle’s Database and various cloud services, Oracle Machine Learning Services, OML in-database algorithms, and much more! You will get a first-hand view of how the newest technologies in the industry are integrated into the Oracle Database.

• As a member of the team, you will work on high-visibility, revenue generating products. While experiencing the complete software release lifecycle, you will be responsible for developing automated test frameworks to gauge the quality of our products. You will take a critical role in shaping the final set of features that our enterprise customers will see and use.

• You will become adept in designing and developing large-scale, high-impact automation infrastructures to solve real problems within an organization of hundreds of engineers.

• You will exercise various skill sets – apply technical expertise to create elegant solutions, project manage to deliver, market, and promote to gain acceptance, and extend to ensure longevity.
