Overview
As an Account Director, you'll manage client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and as briefed. You'll handle daily client management, fostering positive and profitable relationships at senior levels. You will have responsibility for account development & growth in addition to the management of financial forecasts and revenue projections, identifying new revenue opportunities and proactively driving these forward. In addition, you'll contribute to team operations and support new business pitches. You will help clients leverage digital strategies to create competitive advantages, focusing on client satisfaction and quality service.
You will work closely with key client stakeholders and internal matrix teams to ensure that milestones and deliverables are clear, adhered to and delivered to spec and on time. As part of your role you will also work with multiple teams within Digitas including, delivery, strategy, creative, UX, tech, data and media as well as some of the wider Publicis Groupe agencies.
Responsibilities
Ensure the profitable delivery of account projects by regularly updating budgets and forecasts.
Assist Project Managers in updating project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, driving revenue growth on a per-client basis.
Support the Business Director in maintaining comprehensive Account Plans.
Manage and nurture healthy client relationships on a day-to-day basis.
Collaborate with Creative Directors/Account Directors to gather client business requirements and draft detailed briefs.
Help Creative Directors/Account Directors achieve projected revenue targets for each client.
Ensure appropriate resource allocation for account projects.
Provide accurate weekly reports on projected revenues and manage profitability against established targets.
Maximize project communication and collaboration to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital, CRM, data, or creative agency, or equivalent client-side experience, with a deep understanding of data-driven insights, creative development, campaign delivery, and full-cycle CRM/marketing program management.
Familiarity with brand campaigns and digital activations.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build strong working relationships with clients and third-party partners, such as media agencies, creative agencies, and data suppliers.
Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional process creation and streamlining skills.
Proactive in identifying and driving additional revenue opportunities both internally and externally.
Proficient in communicating with technical and non-technical audiences internally and externally, and adept at client presentations.
Experience in managing commercials, adhering to agreed budgets, and optimizing resource allocation.
Skilled in building relationships with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in both German and English, completing your profile.
